Supreme Court stays Dhaka University vice chancellor-elect panel

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has stayed the vice chancellor-elect panel of Dhaka University that was formed amid protest from a quarter of students.
A three-member bench of the Appellate Division, headed by chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, passed the order on Thursday.
The apex court also allowed Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique to continue his duties as the vice chancellor of Dhaka University in the mean time.
