Coaching centres to remain closed from Jan 27 to Feb 27: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dipu Moni today said all coaching centres across the country will remain closed for a month from January 27 in a bid to prevent question paper leak during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

The new education minister came up with the decision after a meeting on the upcoming SSC examinations at her Secretariat office this afternoon.

During the SSC exams, no one will be allowed to use mobile phone except the secretary of the exam centers, she said adding that the secretary can only use feature phones, which are unable to capture any photo.
