PSC, JSC examinations likely to be cancelled

The government is likely to cancel the Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) exams in order to avoid the transmission of the novel coronavirus or Covid-19, according to the media report.

The ministries are expected to send proposals to the Prime Minister 's Office (PMO) for the cancelation of this year's Primary School Certificate (PSC), Junior School Certificate and related coronavirus exams.

If Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina approves in this regard, the Primary and Mass Education Ministry will cancel this year's PSC and equivalent Ibtedayi Education Completion Test, and the Ministry of Education will cancel JSC and equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate Exams, according to Ministry officials.
