HSC admission process begins, to be ended on 26 May

The online application process for admission into Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) classes under 2017-18 academic session has begun in the country.
Secondary and higher secondary division secretary Sohrab Hossain formally inaugurated the online application process at Dhaka Education Board conference room in the city, said an official release.
The admission seekers can apply through online or by sending SMS from any number of Teletalk mobile phone till 26 May.
Detailed information about admission process is available on the website www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd and respective education board websites.
The first phase merit list of the selected students will be published on June 5 and the second and the third phase merit lists will be published on 13 and 18 June respectively.
The first phase admission will continue from June 20 to 22 while the second phase from 28 to 29 June.
The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations were published on May 4 across the country with 80.35 per cent pass rate.
