PEC, Ebtedayee exams begin on November 19

This year's Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee exams for fifth graders in schools and madrasa will start on 19th November.
The date has been fixed on Tuesday at a meeting presided over by the Primary and Mass Education Minister Mustafizur Rahman.
As many as 28.5 lakh students will sit for the exams which will be continued till 26th of November.
The PEC test was introduced at the fifth grade in 2009 following a Cabinet decision.
Earlier, there was a separate exam at the fifth grade for scholarships, which has been now replaced by the PEC and Ebtedayee.
