Sacks of onion under bridge in Cumilla

Many sacks of rotten onion were found under a bridge near the Gouripur Purba Bazar Subal Aftab high School in Cumilla’s Daudkandi upazila.

On Sunday night someone had thrown those onions’ sacks there.

On Monday morning, the pedestrians became curious after seeing those onion sacks, some took photographs and shared them on social media.

The Math teacher of Gouripur Subal Aftab high School Md. Manik Chan said, the low income people have not been daring to buy onions due to abnormal price hike, whereas dishonest businessmen are creating crisis in market by syndicating and destroying country’s economy. Through this ill practice they also are violating consumers’ right.
