ECNEC approves nine projects worth Tk 3226 crore

Nine projects worth Tk 3,226.75 crore were authorised by the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday.
The works include construction on the reconstruction and expansion of Sirajganj-Kazipur-Dhunat-Sherpur Road and Sirajganj-Dhunat Highway with Tk 988.65 crore.
The consent came from an Ecnec meeting with Ecnec President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair at the NEC conference room, an official release said.
Of the projects accepted, five are new and four are updated.
