Marriage is something that I’ve always looked forward to: Deepika

Bollywood most loved couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh last week put an end to all the speculations about their relationship and announced their wedding dates. They are getting married in mid-November.

Recently, Padmaavat actress Deepika opened up about her impending wedding. In an interview to India Today, she said, “I’m excited in the same way as I’m excited about signing my next film. Marriage is something that I’ve always looked forward to in my life, as would any other girl.”

Deepika and Ranveer started dating some six years ago and will apparently get married in Italy’s Villa in Lake Como. The wedding rituals will be attended by close friends and family.

The Cocktail actress further said she was inspired by her parents, Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone. She said, “I’ve seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and I think for me, that’s the way I would like my married life to be as well.”

Their wedding card reads, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on November 14 and 15. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship, and togetherness — Deepika and Ranveer.”

Deepika and Ranveer spoke about their relationship and equation on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan 6. While Deepika shared the couch with Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh shared it with Akshay Kumar.
