Over the last few days, Ranveer Singh has been spotted making his way in and out of a recording studio in Mumbai.

In case you were wondering what he was doing at a recording studio, we have the answer. The actor was reportedly recording a track for Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy', where he will be seen as a rapper.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the 'Bajirao Mastani' actor has recorded a song with a band of rappers. What's more, the actor has got a thumbs up from Vivian Fernandes aka Divine, one of the rapper-composers on whom the film is based.

This is not the first time that Ranveer has put his rapping skills to the test. You may remember that the actor even rapped in the 'Ladies vs Rickly Bahl' song, 'Aadat se majboor'.

'Gully Boy' is inspired by real-life rappers Divine and Naved Shaikh, who goes by the rap name Naezy, among other musicians from Mumbai's underbelly. The film stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead.
