Sri Lanka bowl first in SNBCS’s 100th ODI

In the second match of the tri-nation series, 2018, between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, ​Sri Lanka captain Angelo Matthews opted to bowl first in what is the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium’s 100th ODI.

This is the first match of Sri Lanka in the tri-nation series. Meanwhile Zimbabwe was defeated in the hands of host Bangladesh in their first match by a big margin of 8 wickets on 15 January.

In the last encountered limited over series between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe thrashed the island nation at home claiming a series win.
