Twin tons from openers Anamul Haque and Nazmul Hossain Shanto helped Abahani post a massive total on the board against Prime Doleshwar in the Super League phase of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at BKSP’s Savar today.
Having won the toss, Abahani reached 393 for the loss of four wickets in their 50 overs, thanks largely to a 236-run opening stand between Anamul and Nazmul. Anamul struck 128 from 126 deliveries with seven fours and six sixes while scored a 106-ball 121 with 12 fours and two sixes.
Coming down at one down, India’s Hanuma Vihari continued the onslaught with a 36-ball 66 while Mohammad Mithun remained unbeaten with a 24-ball 47.
