Mustafizur Rahman suffers injury

Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who just returned home from India after playing the Indian Premier League (IPL), has been suffering from toe injury.

The pacer, adorably called ‘Fizz’, has been asked to take rest after he joined the training camp ahead of the Afghanistan Twenty20 series in India.

“He [Mustafiz] has some problems in his big toe. He has been given two-day rest as he’s not completely fit,” said Tigers’ coach Courtney Walsh.

Walsh hoped that Mustafiz would return with his full ability.

“We want Mustafiz in his best form in India. He has improved a lot. He has retained his power,” Walsh observed.
