Bangladeshi Tigers conceded a 95-run defeat to defending world champion India in a warm-up match on Tuesday at Sophia Garden in Cardiff.

In chasing of a mammoth 360-run target set by India, Bangladeshi batters all out on 264 at 49.3 overs.

Except Liton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim’s critical half centuries, Bangladeshi batting line up apparently surrendered to Indian bowling attack.

Mushfiq scored 90 off 94 with eight boundaries and two over boundary shots while Liton Das played a crucial 73 off 90 with 10 boundary shots.

Earlier, India posted a mammoth score of 359 for 7 after been invited by Tigers' skipper Mortaza to bat first.

Both KL Rahul (108 off 99 balls) and MS Dhoni (113 off 78) brought up their centuries to place a big total of 359 before the Team Tigers.

Rubel Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets while Mustafizur, Saifuddin, and Sabbir snared one each.

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and decided to bowl first.

The World Cup preparatory match was delayed due to rain at Sophia Garden in Cardiff, England.

Rain stopped the match only after two bowls were rolled out in the very first over on Tuesday afternoon.

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza chose to field first after winning the toss in their second and last world cup preparatory match.

The match started at 3:30 am at the Sophia Garden in Cardiff, England.

This match came as the last chance for both of Bangladesh and India to sort out the team combination before the tournament. While India still have an issue with their number four place, Bangladesh are yet to finalise their number seven.

Bangladesh's first warm-game against Pakistan was washed out. However, the Tigers are upbeat to exploit the final warm-up game against India.

After this match, Tigers will set their camp in London where they will play first two of their World Cup games against South Africa and New Zealand respectively on June 2 and 5.
