Vettori, Langeveldt recruited Bangladesh bowling coaches

Bangladesh appointed Charl Langeveldt of South Africa and Daniel Vettori of New Zealand as its new pace and spin bowling coaches respectively.

They will be in charge till ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia October–November next year, said Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon after the BCB board meeting in Mirpur on Saturday evening.

Langeveldt is replacing West Indies legend Courtney Walsh while New Zealand’s celebrated spinner Daniel Vettori will replace Sunil Joshi of India.

The contracts of Walsh and Joshi ran out with the completion of the World Cup in England and Wales in July.

Besides, the BCB also renewed contracts of national chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu and selector Habibul Bashar Sumon till the next year T20 World Cup in Australia.
