Afghanistan reach Dhaka for the one-off Test

Afghanistan national team, led by their new skipper Rashid Khan, arrived in Dhaka on Friday to take part in a one-off Test series against hosts Bangladesh and a tri-nation Twenty20 international tournament next month.
They reached at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 9:30 am.
Afghanistan team are currently at the Dhaka airport waiting for their flight to Chattogram where they will be playing a one-off Test against the hosts Bangladesh, scheduled to start from September 5 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
The visitors will open their campaign with a two-day practice-match against BCB XI on September 1-2 at MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram before they take on hosts Bangladesh in the one-off Test series, starting on September 5 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Afghanistan will then compete in a tri-nation Twenty20 tournament in between September 13-24 in Dhaka and Chattogram respectively.
After a disappointing World Cup that ended in July, Bangladesh were whitewashed in a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka in July. The Tigers will be desperate to get back in winning ways and get their rhythm back with a win in this upcoming Test.
