BD U-19 men’s soccer team lose to Qatar in three-nation cup

The Bangladesh U-19 men’s football team lost to host Qatar by 2-0 goals in their opening match of the three-nation cup held on Saturday late evening at Aspire Academy Pitch, Qatar.
In the day’s match, Mekki Tombari put Qatar ahead in the 33rd minute while after the breather substitute Diyab Taha sealed the victory for the host scoring the second goal in the 52nd minute of the match.
Bangladesh will play their second and last match against Kuwait scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday) while Qatar will meet Kuwait on Wednesday (October 16).
