4-member delegation of Manchester United now in Dhaka

A four-member English giant soccer club team from Manchester United came to Dhaka to monitor the overall situation including the venue, hotel and communications system.

Football director Allan John Dawson, director (related to friendly match arrangement) Christopher Lawrence Coman, two officials Filip Malcolm Smith and Matthew Charles Jones were included in the delegation.

The issue was confirmed to the media this morning by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

The club of the English Premier League will probably play a friendly match in Dhaka to add a feeling to the celebration of the Mujib Year.

It is expected that Manchester United will come in June 2020. The other fun squad is still to be decided.

BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag said earlier, "Manchester United's delegation is coming to Dhaka to settle the game's auxiliary issues." During their visit, the minister added, the team is also likely to play a friendly match against the Bangladesh national team.

The state is planning to mark next year's 100th anniversary of the Bangabandhu State Father Sheik Muzibur Rahman, proclaimed' Mujib Year.'

Different programs such as recreation, culture and entertainment will take place in educational institutions throughout the year 2020 and will run until March 26, 2021— the country's golden jubilee year of independence.
