Cricket Australia (CA) on Saturday announced a 14-man squad for a two-match Test series tour to Bangladesh in August.

Paceman James Pattinson has been ruled out of the Qantas Tour of Bangladesh due to inflammation in his back, said Cricket Australia.

Fast bowler Jackson Bird has replaced James Pattinson in the squad for their upcoming tour of Bangladesh.

A Cricket Australia spokesperson said the move to withdraw the Victorian from the 14-man squad is a precautionary measure aimed at allowing him best preparation for the Ashes this summer.

The team will arrive in Bangladesh on August 18 and play a two-day tour game in Fatullah from August 22.

The two Tests will be held on August 27 in Dhaka and September 4 in Chittagong.

Earlier on Thursday, the Cricket Australia (CA) and the Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) signed an agreement to an end the ugly pay dispute.
