Shakib’s wife slams facebook posts slating the cricketer

Shakib Al Hasan finds himself at the centre of yet another controversy after an image appeared on social media where the cricketer attended a wedding with his wife, child and housemaid.

A picture from the wedding made it into social media and people were quick to rage at the fact that Shakib was eating with his wife and child but the housemaid had to stand behind them during dinner.

Social media accounts readily started blaming Shakib for what they believe was inappropriate behaviour on Shakib's part.

However, the online critics changed their viewpoint when it dawned on them that the housemaid sat at the table to eat with the family from another image that was taken right after the initial picture.

People commented that Shakib’s family didn’t allow the girl to sit with them at dinner table and instead let her stand while the family ate.

Shakib’s wife took to facebook to have her say on these comments on social media.

She wrote: This is absurd! The word "good" does not go with Shakib al Hasan! Why? Because he can't sweet talk...that's why he's tagged as a "bad person" very well.

“Now the thing is, if you were gunna spread absurd news about him as a human should've been a little careful as you can see the evidence down below. I don't care about pointless news that goes around because it keeps people entertained, and we know who we are, what we are!

But please don't make news about a person who represents your country around the world, who's known to be a pride of the nation. It's a shame when we have to hear people from other countries who follow cricket saying "your own country don't show you the respect you deserve".

And enough with the negativeness, please find something else to boost your page or whatever. Btw she was walking back to the table after washing her hand to eat just so you know!
