Game resumes after rainy morning

The rain-hit 3rd day’s play of the second test between Bangladesh and Australia resumed at 1:15pm at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Wednesday.

Minimum 67 overs will be played in the remaining two sessions of the day.

The game was scheduled to resume at 10am (Bangladesh time) with the Australian in the 1st innings with bat but the rain forced to cut down the first session.

Overnight batsmen David Warner (88 off 170b; 4x4) and Peter Handscomb (69 off 113; 5x4) resumed the Australian innings from behind 80 runs in reply to Bangladesh’s 305 runs in the first innings which ended in the middle of the first session on the second day.
