West Indies suffered early batting jolt in their first innings as they scored 29 for 5 after 12 overs against Bangladesh on the 2nd day of the of the second and final Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the city on Saturday.
Mehedi Miraz took three wickets while Shakib Al Hasan bagged two as West Indies scored 29 runs for 5 wickets.
Earlier, Bangladesh's eventful first innings ended on 508 all out.
Mahmudullah Riyad scored a career best 136 as Bangladesh were all out for 508 in their first innings.
Jomel Warrican bowled Mahmudullah to wrap-up Bangladesh’s innings and finish with 2-91, while Kemar Roach, Devendra Bishoo and Kraigg Brathwaite also claimed two wickets each.
Shakib Al Hasan made a second highest score of 80 for Bangladesh. Shadman Islam and Liton Das hit 76 and 54 runs respectively.
Bangladesh are leading the two-Test series 1-0 thanks to their 64-run win in the first Test in Chattrogram.
