Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to bowl first in the 12th match of the ICC World Cup 2019 against England on Saturday at Cardiff Wales Stadium.

Bangladesh name an unchanged team while Morgan confirms Moeen misses out for Plunkett.

The match has started at 3:30pm Bangladesh Time.

Both teams are coming into the match on the back of hard-fought losses. Bangladesh lost by two wickets to New Zealand at The Oval on Wednesday after being all out for a sub-par 244, and England fell 14 runs short of Pakistan’s 348 for eight at Nottingham on Monday.

Bangladesh beat England at both the 2011 and 2015 World Cups.

But the 2019 tournament hosts are a different proposition now, boasting a fearsome batting line-up and a strong bowling unit.

Bangladesh: 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Soumya Sarkar, 3 Shakib Al Hasan, 4 Mushfiqur Rahman (wk), 5 Mohammad Mithun, 6 Mahmudullah, 7 Mosaddek Hossain, 8 Mohammad Saifuddin, 9 Mehidy Hasan, 10 Mashrafe Mortaza, 11 Mustafizur Rahman

England: 1 Jason Roy, 2 Jonny Bairstow, 3 Joe Root, 4 Eoin Morgan (capt), 5 Ben Stokes, 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Chris Woakes, 8 Adil Rashid, 9 Liam Plunkett, 10 Jofra Archer, 11 Mark Wood
