Australia have managed to score 321 runs after 95 overs losing five wickets in the last Test of a two-match series against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.

HWR Cartwright  went back to the pavilion as last batsman scoring 18 off 28balls. Mehidy picked up the important wicket of Cartwright.

GJ Maxwel was on the crease scoring 21 off 48 balls and 4 runs off 7 balls respectively.

Earlier, the third day's play in the second and final cricket Test between Bangladesh and Australia began after a delay due to rain in Chittagong.

The first session of the 3rd day was washed away due to incessant rainfall since Wednesday.

The play of the 3rd day was scheduled to start at 10am (Bangladesh time) with Australia resume their 1st innings on 225/2, trailing by 80 in reply to Bangladesh's 305 runs in the first innings.

If the weather turns into a good mood, overnight batsmen David Warner (88 off 170b; 4x4) and Peter Handscomb (69 off 113; 5x4) will come in the crease to resume the Australian innings.

Bangladesh managed to collect 305 runs in the first innings with skipper Mushfiqur Rahim (68) and Sabbir Rahman (66) hammered half-centuries for the host side.
