Huge LBW appeal from Dilruwan Perera and umpire raises his fingers. The DRS could not save Mustafizur Rahman and he is gone for a golden duck.

Akila Dananjaya gets another one in the same over.

Pitched it fuller to Sabbir Rahman and he knicked it straight to Chandimal.

Liton Das' resistance comes to an end nd it is Suranga Lakmal who gets his 3rd wicket. Pitched it a little bit outside off and Das knicked it as the ball went on to hit the stumps.

Bangladesh have hit a couple of boundaries and a six in the early overs which has relieved the pressure.

Bangladesh have scored 110/10 in 45.4 overs against Sri Lanka on the second day of the second and final Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket today.

Suranga Lakmal start with the new ball.

After being bowled out for 222, Sri Lanka cricket team hit back with four quick wickets to reduce Bangladesh to 56/4 at stumps on Day 1. The visitors will look to strike early on the second day and secure a good first innings lead. Earlier, Abdur Razzak and Taijul Islam claimed four wickets each to wrap up Sri Lanka’s innings shortly after tea. For Sri Lanka, Kusal Mendis and Roshen Silva hit fifties. In reply, Bangladesh made a shoddy start, losing Tamim Iqbal and Mominul Haque inside the first two overs, with Suranga Lakmal (2-15) taking his 100th Test wicket as he caught and bowled the former. Mushfiqur Rahim and Imrul Kayes too fell in quick succession, leaving the home side reeling.

On Day 2, Sri Lanka will hope to establish dominance by taking quick wickets and bowling out the home side before they can take the lead in the match. Bangladesh will hope they can survive the early attack and take the lead.
